The Tennis Federation of Cambodia will conduct a national junior ranking tournament in U12, U14 and U18 categories at the National Training Centre from tomorrow.
The size and shape of the draw depends on the number of entries which are open till 5pm. today. While the U12 category involves singles events for boys and girls, the U14 and U18 events are confined to boys singles and doubles.
“This is the first of the six ranking tournaments we have scheduled for juniors this year. We are adding two more junior events to the three regular tournaments – the Cham Prasidh Cup, the Cambodian Open and the Tep Khunnah Memorial,” tournament director and national head coach Braen Aneiros told The Post yesterday.
“We have realised that as our grassroots programme gets broadbased, we need to provide more and more competition to the juniors,” he said.
